Invitation: Theatertreffen 2015, Berlin
May 3, 2015
Dear readers,
This year one of the three most important European theatre festivals, Theatertreffen in Berlin, has selected to showcase a text by a Bulgarian writer for the first time in its 52-year history. This will be “The State” written by the author of this site.
A selection panel composed of some of the most prominent theatremakers in Europe, among which were Tim Etchells, (Forced Entertainment), Helgard Haug (Rimini Protokoll) and Milo Rau (International Institute of Political Murder) chose this text among hundreds of other submissions throughout Europe.
The event will take place on May 3, 2015 as of 20.30 local time in Haus der Berliner Festspiele, Berlin, where two versions of the performance will be simultaneously running: in German as well as in English.
If you happen to be in Berlin in the beginning of May, you are more than invited to join.
